Exam rant

I wish I was exaggerating when I say that my English Literature A2 exam this morning was the worst exam of my life. Honestly I have endured some shit exams in my time (today was the 28th exam of my life), but this one really stands out. I think my AS Philosophy exams were better (I got a D...) and so I am very fearful that there's no University for me this year.
The William Blake section was fine, I'd even go as far to say it was enjoyable. I chose a question about poets engaging audiences in topics and characters they do not necessarily like or enjoy and my unseen poem of choice was 'The Burial of Sir John Moore'. I broached topics such as child labour, conflict in nations and races, over population, uncertain futures, death and corrupt authority figures, it was wonderful! Alas it was time to face the Hamlet question. Shudder. The question I chose told me to discuss the view point that "it's one failed conspiracy after another with an accidental ending" in relation to Shakespeare's dramatical techniques within Hamlet and how The Revenger's Tragedy sheds light on this. It was a bitch of a question, I lost hope half way through and just tried to salvage it by throwing in words like "anagnorisis", "proleptic", "hamartia", "hubris", "melancholic", "malcontent" and Aristotle's theory of the perfect play. I then spent an entire paragraph dribbling on about the bloody sword fights and how the ending of TRT is rushed.

In a nutshell I know I did horribly. My only hope is that my coursework (B) and my AS grade (A) save me.
Next up, Philosophy. That will destroy my soul further, no doubt.
