I've been meaning to learn how to do a french plait pretty much my entire life (something my Sister somehow picked up yet I never did...). And finally, I am proud to say, I have learnt. Thanks to procrastination due to an essay on the presentation of leadership in Hamlet, I stumbled across this wonderful hair tutorial which made it so so easy. I'm a self admitted hair abuser, I've been dying and straightening from the age of 12 and now I don't just dye, I bleach. This mixed with naturally curly hair (lots of conditioning still doesn't make it soft, dammit) results in a mess on top of my head which is sometimes left down if it's behaving, or up in a topknot if it's being a bugger. Unfortunately the latter is most common. All of this means that I'm very very lazy with styling, but now I have found something I can do! It's a big saviour because I used to have wonderfully long hair (I'm still in mourning) but I had it cut short a few months ago because it was horrifically damaged and I'm still learning how to deal with short-er hair....
However the only problem a la momento is my silly roots (thankfully it's only 4 days till they're covered up with lots of chemicals..mmmmm) which make it look like I have a massive blonde streak across my head.
Anyhoo, I should probably get back to my A levels...only 3 weeks till exams and all that crap....GAH.
