Gots me some new rags

For a while I have been admiring the whole shirt thing from afar, other people seemed to do it but any time I walked into a shop they were all insanely transparent, which is fine and dandy if you're a washboard stomach size 8, but if you're a big boobed 10/12 it doesn't look so great. I decided to finally put some real heart into my search, and after my penultimate shift at work, I headed to the shops and started looking. I tried to stay strong, I really did. But seriously, why do all shops aimed at 18-mid 20s think it's alright to charge £40 for shitty quality? And I mean shitty.
EVERYTHING was pretty much transparent, or just not me. I had some hope in Next, but they only had an 8 and a 14. Exasperated, I wondered along the high-street, hoping to find some sort of inspiration.
Why hello there Gap. I haven't been in there for a while, and as soon as I walked in there it was. A nude shirt, not too fitted, not too oversized and thick enough for modesty without being too heavy. IDEAL.

I then popped into H&M out of pure boredom and I have finally bought some denim shorts. I couldn't really find a way to make that purchase sound more interesting.

Shirt - Gap £19.99

Shorts - H&M £17.99

Leopard print bag - Therapy £45

Now the leopard print bag I fell in love with as soon as I saw it, then when last payday rolled around I just HAD to buy it. It also has a longer strap that you can clip on which I do like.

Hope y'all have a good weekend!

  1. I definitely agree with things costing too much for the poor quality of the item. Which is why I am frequent charity shopper! Just last week I found a maroon Dior sweater for 10 dollars! Maybe you can check out some near you? :)

I love the blouse you bought, I am too scared to rock a beige shirt!
